Spheretex at a new place
Spheretex has entered into its new facilities from 1st January 2020 on. After 20 years at a rented place the opportunity arose to acquire own space. “Needless to say, we didn’t falter and took that chance!” explained Managing Director Christoph Esser, who is responsible for Spheretex for 3 years now. The biggest chance was to bring together the production and warehouse under one roof. “Self-evident the premises are on a top level and represent current states of technique and convenience” were the comments of the employees.
“It was a big challenge to ensure the move of the complex production machines. But we managed perfectly!” stated Günther Müller-Kössler, operations manager at Spheretex. Even though less than 20 km had to be covered, the machines needed to be dismantled and afterwards assembled completely. This led to a production shutdown of 2 months. But thanks to highly motivated workers this task could be managed.
